In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Ḥāfiẓ ibn Ḥajar said:
“One should not pay attention to opinions, even if they seem strong, in the presence of a Sunnah that contradicts them. It should not be asked, ‘How did this escape from the understanding of so-and-so?’ Indeed, it is Allāh who grants guidance to the truth.”
