In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
The Salafī Way of Advising vs. The Way of the Devils
Imām Rabīʿ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī (رحمه الله) said
“If your brother makes a mistake, then advise him gently and present to him evidence and proof; Allāh may benefit him through that. But as for you sitting and waiting for so-and-so to make a mistake (lurking for a slip, hunting for an opportunity to pounce) and then spreading it here and there saying that so-and-so did this and that, then these are the ways of the shayāṭīn (devils) and not the ways of the Salafīs.”
