In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“When Allāh intends good for a person, He aids him through time and makes time favourable to him. But when Allāh intends harm for a person, He turns time against him. Whenever he intends to move forward, time does not assist him. As for the first (the one for whom Allāh intends good), even if his soul inclines towards becoming sluggish, time will raise him up and support him.”
